WAXING LYRICAL
Another area of my practice that I approach as a creative art form, often and generally understated, is spoken word performance, creative writing, and poetic prose. All in the attempt to express my thoughts in lyrical verse. This is a hobby-horse, I love to ride, rocking steady in rhythm, rhyme and timing!
A fun filled pastime, I am yet to master the higher levels in the craft. Usually my lyrics are all about my private opinions – on the current state of all things. Especially the prevailing spirit, and what is in energies flowing around the world.
The theme now is cultural and social evolution. I now will introduce a new work in a sombre manner, it is brief metaphors, cryptic and didactic. We are already global, it is inevitable – no backing up – nor U-turn. The Dragon spitting fire, will give its power to the Beast with many heads: Here we go!
HUMAN EVOLUTION
“Mind now! The Truth! Hidden behind mountains of lies. Only when truths are spoken, will the lies be shown, to be known, and realised.
Especially needed now, in this time, like no other in chaos and confusions. Simplicity removed; complexity arrived! Just like that! Magic, is in the A-I-R. ‘Post-Modernism.’
Where and when the foundations of everything crumbles into dust, and the moral codes and compass of the status-quo is smashed, into unseen pieces, with nothing in place to replace them.
Consider this, the implosion to be, an invisible vision, of non-creative reactions. Who are generating the means, ways and rooms for the new, in the making. Not yet known-unrealised. In your own -ID, Mind – Now!”
